Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Hassan Transportation & Logistics (“HTL,” “we,” “us”) collects information you provide directly through our website, including when you submit a quote request, contact form, or schedule a meeting. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, shipping origin and destination, freight details, and any other information you choose to share.

We also automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Quote Request and Contact Form Data

Information submitted through quote and contact forms is used to respond to your inquiry, prepare pricing, coordinate transportation services, and follow up on your request. We may share this information with our customer relationship management (CRM) and dispatch systems.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use strictly necessary, analytics, marketing, and functional cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function. To maintain visibility into overall site traffic, we also load a privacy-safe baseline of Google Analytics 4 by default with IP anonymization and Google ads signals disabled, so pageviews are recorded without identifying individual visitors. Marketing, retargeting, and visitor-identifying tracking (HubSpot, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Google ads personalization) load only after you accept the marketing category. You can change your choices at any time via the link in the footer.

4. Analytics and Marketing Tools

Baseline anonymous measurement uses Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode v2 (ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization denied until consent). With your consent, we also use Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure marketing effectiveness. These tools may set their own cookies and process data subject to their own privacy policies.

We also use visitor identification technology (RB2B) that may identify the company — and in some cases the individual — visiting this site from a business network, along with the pages viewed. This information is used for our own sales and marketing purposes, such as understanding which businesses are interested in our services and following up with relevant offers. To opt out, contact us using the details below.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve our services, respond to inquiries, generate quotes, coordinate shipments, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and communicate with you about HTL services.

6. Sharing With Service Providers

We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, including carriers and dispatch partners. These providers are required to protect information consistent with this policy. The current categories and providers are:

  • Customer relationship management: HubSpot and Pipedrive.
  • Hosting, database, and file storage: Supabase.
  • Analytics and marketing: Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
  • AI chat assistant: the third-party AI provider that generates replies in our website assistant.
  • Bot protection: Cloudflare.
  • Internal notifications: Slack.
  • Shipping rate estimates: EasyPost.

6a. AI Chat Assistant

When you use the chat assistant on our website, the messages you send are transmitted to a third-party AI provider so a reply can be generated. Transcripts are stored, along with a one-way hashed version of your IP address used for abuse prevention and rate limiting.

The assistant is software, not a person, and it does not provide binding quotes, rates, or transit commitments. Please do not enter payment card details, carrier account numbers, or other sensitive credentials into the chat.

6b. Files You Send Us

Shipping data files you send us (for example a parcel level detail export) are stored in non-public storage. Access is limited to authorised HTL personnel through time-limited links, and the files are used solely to prepare the analysis you requested. You can ask us to delete an uploaded file at any time using the contact details below.

6c. Automated Abuse Prevention

We apply rate limiting and bot detection to our forms, chat, and estimating tools. These protections process a one-way hash of your IP address rather than storing it in readable form, together with a limited set of browser signals collected by our bot-detection provider.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods by category:
